Igrid’s Version Chapter 1 Part 8
Welcome to my blog, I am here today to take you with me to one of my worlds. On this occasion, we will continue with the story where we left it in the last post, and we’ll live it from Igrid’s own skin.
Dumbfounded, I am left pinned to his eyes bathed in an intense crimson fire that at moments seem like they’re watching my soul. Motionless, I watch how the smile on his face dissipates and, making an unpleasant grimace, he goes towards one of the entrances that connect with the colosseum’s basement. Subsequently, he is lost through it as the hysterical crowd cheers his name restlessly.
Angry, I apart myself from the rail and quickly start to descend the tier’s stairs.
“Get out!” I yell to a group of people the instant the spectators start to abandon their seats. “Out of my way.”
Growing furious at moment, I am resigned at seeing how five men and a woman ignore me completely, stopping me from continuing on my way.
Sliding my hand over my bottom, I draw one of my sharp knives and, plunging it towards the biggest of them, I watch how they all turn, disturbed by my presence.
Making an intention of grabbing their weapons, they look at one another confusedly but, in an instant, the lady that accompanies them places one of her knees on the floor.
“What are you doing, Vaela?” The man I am pointing at with my sharp dagger asks. “It’s just a woman.”
“You’re a damn fool.” She responds to her companion. “You’ll get us all killed.”
