Igrid’s Version Chapter 1 Part 5
Welcome to my blog, I am here today to take you with me to one of my worlds. On this occasion, we will continue with the story where we left it in the last post, and we’ll live it from Igrid’s own skin.
Followed by Naeria, we enter the colosseum and after crossing a small hallway, I emerge through the tiers. Impatient, I run to one of the borders, and, placing both hands on the metallic rail, I watch the scene of the battle. On it, a man covered in the blood of his enemies rises gloriously between a dozen bodies scattered around him.
Shouting victoriously, the powerful man keeps the fingers of one hand wrapped around the forehead of his last adversary who, fighting to survive, tries to free himself from the deadly tie. Watching how with each second that passes, the pressure of his fingers increases, I am paralyzed, enjoying the spectacular scene.
Howling from the pain that crushes him to his captor’s will, the prisoner raises his hands, trying to reach the face of the glorious enemy but, before he can make it, his strength diminishes as he is left practically unconscious. With his cries silenced to the point in which they can barely be heard, he raises his glance to the eyes of that demon which, smiling, raises his fist in a sign of victory.
“Tell me!” The powerful man yells to the crowd, provoking in the mass, the most surprising euphoria. “What do you want me to do with this scum?”
“Kill him!” I hear someone yell from the crowd and before anyone else can say another word, he slams his fist against the prisoner’s face.
