Igrid’s Version Chapter 1 Part 2
Welcome to my blog, I am here today to take you with me to one of my worlds. On this occasion, we will continue with the story where we left it in the last post, and we’ll live it from Igrid’s own skin.
Quickly I put it on and, scant seconds later, I grab my laser crossbow from my nightstand. Feeling its familiar tact through the thin gloves of my outfit, I cross the door of my compartment.
“Igrid.” I hear how a woman calls me, who, upon seeing me, gets up from the chair located next to my residence’s entrance. “What do you need?”
“Where has my husband gone to?” I ask her angrily, fixating my dark eyes on her. “Take me with him.”
“I don’t know where he is.” She tells me lowering her gaze. “He hasn’t given me that information.”
“Naeria.” I say through clenched teeth still with my weapon in my hands. “I am giving you an order.”
“Zayron told me not to take you to him until seven.” She indicates depressed, sitting back in the chair. “I have to remain here and stop you from leaving the building.”
“Who do you think is the boss here, Naeria?” I tell her, shoving the tip of my crossbow towards her face. “Me or the damn Carrier of Death?”
“You.” She responds the instant her skin grows so pale, it would pass as my whitish suit. “I’m just trying not to infuriate Zayron.”
“Admiral Zayron.” I sentence coldly, drawing my weapon even closer towards her face. “Don’t you dare treat us as if we were your equals because that will never happen.”
“I’m sorry.” She says, scared, slowly getting up. “Follow me.”
