Igrid’s Version . Chapter 1.1
Welcome to my blog, I am here today to take you with me to one of my worlds. On this occasion, we will delve into the world of The Carrier of Death: On the Edge of Extinction. Here, we’ll live the story from Igrid’s own skin, Zayron’s relentless wife.
This chapter, like the rest I have uploaded and will be posting day after day, is a part of the extra chapters of the story and, therefore, complements them. I must remind you that the book doesn’t need these chapters to be understood, but I thought it would be interesting to tell the story of a few of the characters from each of their perspectives.
Synopsis
Igrid, furious at having woken up in the middle of the night and not finding her husband in the bed they share every night, will part on his search, without knowing that the following hours might change her destiny.
To set you into the plot, I must remind you that this story takes place 700 years into the future and that our planet is in a post-apocalyptic state caused by a war that nearly rendered humanity extinct. Unable to live on the surface due to the radiation, the cataclysm’s survivors have been forced to reside in the world’s undergrounds where there are no more oceans or even traces of the least amount of vegetation.
Within the world of The Carrier of Death, Igrid’s Version takes place a few hours before Keiser’s Version, and a day before the scenes told in the original book.
